Dougherty Judicial Building back in business soon

Albany's municipal court returns to courthouse operations July 2nd

ALBANY, GA –  Two weeks from tomorrow, Albany Municipal Court is set to resume adjudicating cases at the Dougherty County Judicial Building.

The building has undergone extensive repairs from earlier flood damage.

Cases have been held on an interim basis at the Albany Civic Center.

City officials ask anyone who has business or attends court to enter on the west side of the courthouse.

Social distancing protocols and the wearing of masks or facial coverings while in the courthouse will continue to be required.
