Dougherty County to test emergency sirens
(DOUGHERTY COUNTY, Ga)- The Dougherty County Emergency Management Agency, and the Albany Fire Department will be testing their severe weather sirens Friday afternoon.
The siren test will take place at 1 P.M. Friday, and should last around five minutes.
Warning sirens are normally given a silent test on a weekly basis.
There will be public safety personnel stationed at each siren location to report on the outcome of the audible test.
