Dougherty County Sheriff’s race decided

(DOUGHERTY COUNTY, GA) – In the race for Dougherty County Sheriff, incumbent, Kevin Sproul will run unopposed.

Sproul ran against retired Colonel and Dougherty County law enforcement of more than 30 years, Sabrina Lewis.

Sproul received 62% of the votes with 4,550 people voting for the Sheriff of 12 years, with Lewis only receiving 2,763 votes.

Both candidates ran as Democrats, with Sproul currently finishing his third term as Sheriff.
