Domestic call leads to shoplifting arrest in Cordele

36 year old woman arrested as officers respond to apartment disturbance

CORDELE, GA – A Cordele woman faces a single count of theft by shoplifting after her Friday morning arrest an a downtown apartment building.

Police identify the person taken into custody as 36 year old Danielle Raymond.

Officers were initially responding to a domestic disturbance complaint around 10:30 am when they encountered the woman.

What exactly transpired in the second story apartment remains under investigation, but the female suspect was arrested and charged on the single shoplifting charge.

As of press time, she had not been transported to the Crisp County Detention Center.
