Day Out With Thomas hits Georgia Veterans State Park March 14-15

CORDELE, Ga. – Families can get ready for an unforgettable day of fun as the Sam Shortline Excursion Train hosts Day Out With Thomas this Saturday and Sunday, March 14 and 15, at Georgia Veterans State Park. The event runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with train rides departing every 30 minutes from 10 a.m. through 3:30 p.m.

Guests can hop on board a real train ride with Thomas the Tank Engine, enjoy photo opportunities, and shop at the exclusive gift shop. The fun doesn’t stop there! Head over to the Music Corner for lawn games, hands-on activities, and live entertainment that will get the whole family dancing.

There’s plenty for kids and adults to enjoy, including putt-putt golf, bouncy houses, bubble stations, a hay bale maze, model train displays, food trucks, and more. Tickets are $23 per person, and children ages 1 and up are welcome.
