CORDELE, GA – Crisp Regional Health Systems CEO Steve Gautney was smiling Thursday morning following the approval of a $44 million intergovernmental contract by Crisp County’s Board of Commissioners.

The new deal brokered will pay off existing bonds that total approximately $23 million dollars.

Gautney says refinancing the debt with relatively low current interest rates, the savings for both the county and his hospital are significant.

The new financing arrangement will allow a greater expansion of facilities at the hospital.
