Couple murdered, duo charged & person of interest picked up

24 year old Brianna Register & 37 year old Londell Marshall identified as deceased

ALBANY, GA – Albany Police are no longer looking for a third person of interest in connection to Sunday morning’s killing of two people in an Oglethorpe alley way, after taking Alicia Lyles into custody on an unrelated charge Tuesday.

Albany Police spokesperson Sylah Ferguson identifies the two murder victims as 24 year old Brianna Register & 37 year old Londell Marshall.

Arrested and charged are Justan Bilous and Allen Blocker.

Police say the two were present at the time of Marshall’s death.

Albany Police Captain Wendy Luster says Register was killed by Marshall, presumably in an argument over drugs.

Albany Police spokesperson Sylah Ferguson says Lyles has confirmed to investigators that Marshall killed Register and that Marshall was killed by Bilous and Blocker, in retaliation for the slaying.
