Cordele teen arrested for meat market shooting
Victim recovers art Crisp Regional Hospital; accused taken to jail

CORDELE, GA – Cordele Police arrest a 17 year old for a Monday night shooting as the victim continues to recover at Crisp Regional Hospital.
Police say Rodgdreon Beeks was taken into custody Wednesday on charges of aggravated assault and possessing a firearm during the commission of a crime.
Lieutenant Charles Pheil says approximately 8:30 Monday night, officers responded to a reported shooting at Joe’s Meat Market where they found a man suffering a gunshot wound to the chest.
The unidentified victim remains in stable condition as his alleged shooter has been booked into the Crisp County Detention Center.
