Cordele PD participates in the EasterSeals Southern Georgia Project

CORDELE, GA – When the Cordele Police Department heard that the Easterseals Southern Georgia had set a goal of collecting 2,500 pairs of shoes, they got busy!
Easterseals, which provides a variety of community-based services to children and adults who have developmental disabilities in Southern Georgia and North Florida, thanked the CPD for their donation in a Facebook posting. As of air time, the department had collected and donated 44 pair of shoes for the cause.
There is still time to help them meet their goal – we have several dropoff locations listed below. If you have gently worn, used, or new shoes to donate please consider participating! For more information, please email shamsley@swga-easterseals.org.
