Cook County Chamber to host Agri-Business Appreciation Dinner in Adel

ADEL, Ga. – A special evening honoring the farmers and agri-businesses that help power South Georgia is set to take place this week in Adel.

The Agri-Business Appreciation Dinner is scheduled for Thursday, March 26, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. and will be hosted by the Cook County Chamber of Commerce.

The inaugural event will celebrate Cook County’s farm community and recognize the hardworking individuals who contribute to one of South Georgia’s largest industries. Organizers say the dinner is designed to bring together members of the agricultural and business communities to show appreciation for those who work daily to sustain the region’s agricultural tradition.

During the evening, the Chamber will also present its 2025 Ag Person of the Year Award, honoring an individual who has made a significant impact in the field of agriculture.
