City of Thomasville to host Easter Eggstravaganza March 28
THOMASVILLE, Ga. – A festive Easter celebration is set to bring families together this weekend as the Easter Eggstravaganza takes place on Saturday, March 28 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Weston Park.
Hosted by the City of Thomasville along with more than 40 community partners, the free event will feature a variety of family-friendly activities, including games, music, face painting, food, and drinks. The Easter Bunny is also expected to make a special appearance.
One of the highlights of the event is the Easter egg hunt, which will include more than 6,500 eggs divided into age groups. Organizers say 200 “golden eggs” filled with special prizes will also be hidden as part of the hunt, adding an extra level of excitement for participants.
City leaders say the event is designed to bring the community together while celebrating the Easter season with activities for all ages.
The Easter Eggstravaganza is free and open to the public. For more information, contact the Ricky Zambrano, Public Information Manager with the City of Thomasville, at 229-227-7041.
