City of Moultrie works to get water back on after water main break

MOULTRIE, Ga. – Moultrie’s Utility Department says they’ve been working since 7 a.m. to fix a major water main break just off Veterans Parkway near a Waffle House.

The Utility Department says they should have the water back on for the affected business and schools in the next 3-4 hours.

In the meantime, businesses that are open are currently offering a limited “no water menu.”

Affected businesses in the area around the water main break are being told that water should be back on around 9 p.m.
