Citizens Christian Academy wraps annual baseball, softball camp

DOUGLAS, GA – We can’t wrap up camping season without paying our good friends at Citizens Christian Academy a visit, as today was the last day for the Patriots softball and baseball camp.

This camp saw over 65 kids from ages 4 to 10 working with head coach Jeremy Coram on some of the basic fundamentals of both sports: hitting, bunting, fielding, base running and sliding.

The goal of the camp wasn’t only to see who would be wearing Patriots colors in the future, but for Corum to continue bonding with the young athletes in the community who hope to one day play for his teams.

“It was always fun to have a group of kids out here teaching them the game of softball and baseball,” Coram said. “You want to have some fun, you get a group of 65 kids out here and try to teach them the game. We want to teach them the game early and see if it’s something they like.”
