CBS 44 Weather Authority Forecast: May 25, 2023
Nice stretch, but cool for May!
Nice stretch of weather holds through the Memorial Day weekend. It will still be breezy Friday & Saturday with a northeasterly wind around the circulation of the non-tropical low pressure system as it approaches the coast of the Carolinas. Chances of tropical or sub-tropical development remain unlikely since it’s attached to a front and has limited time over water. If you are planning a vacation along the east coast expect impacts of heavy rainfall, minor coastal flooding, and dangerous boating conditions. We stay dry with the exception of the chance of an isolated shower for our eastern counties Saturday evening into Sunday. Warming up for Memorial Day as humidity starts to creep up. More humid early next week with heat indices near 90.
