Back to school vaccination clinics for Albany announced

ALBANY, GA— For the next two consecutive Saturdays, parents can bring school-age children and young adults who need vaccines for college admission to the Dougherty County Health Department from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. to vaccination clinics.

The clinics are scheduled for July 31 and Aug, 7 at the health department, which is located at 1710 S. Slappey Blvd. They are co-sponsored by the Dougherty County School System.

COVID-19 vaccine will also be offered for youths 12 and up during the clinics.

Plus, hearing, vision, dental and nutritional screenings will be provided.

Participants will be required to wear a mask, gel up and answer a symptoms check list.
