AWARE & WrestleSouth to host “AWAREVERSARY” wrestling benefit March 14 in Newton
NEWTON, Ga. – A night of high-flying action is coming to Baker County this weekend, all for a great cause.
Awesome Wrestling and Remarkable Entertainment, known as AWARE, is teaming up with WrestleSouth to present “AWAREVERSARY,” a live professional wrestling benefit show supporting the Newton Volunteer Fire Department.
The event takes place Saturday, March 14, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Baker County K-12 School gymnasium, located at 260 GA-37 in Newton. Doors open at 6 p.m., with the first match starting at 7.
Tickets are $10 per person, and children ages 10 and under get in free. Organizers are also encouraging community members to bring a package of diapers or wipes to donate to Helping Mamas Albany. One donated package will earn free admission, helping support local families in need.
Half of all ticket proceeds will go directly to the Newton Volunteer Fire Department, with the remaining funds helping AWARE continue hosting future fundraising events in the community. Concessions will be available during the show, and attendees can pay at the door with cash or through Cash App, PayPal, or Venmo.
AWARE regularly promotes professional wrestling events to raise money for organizations and individuals in need, while WrestleSouth is home to the HOPE Academy professional wrestling training program and focuses on making a positive impact in communities across the region.
