Atlanta Dream drop third straight with loss to Sun
Connecticut hands Atlanta 89-77 loss on Sunday
ATLANTA – The Atlanta Dream were back in action on Sunday as they faced the Connecticut Sun for the first time this season.
Atlanta looked to snap a two-game losing streak as they fell to the Las Vegas Aces and New York Liberty last week, while they also looked to snap a six-game skid they have had to the Sun which dates back to 2021.
After a back-and-forth first half that saw the Sun hold a 48-44 lead, Atlanta fell apart in the second half and suffered an 89-77 defeat.
The Dream (2-5) will go on the road for four straight games, looking to take care of business against the Liberty, Sun, Dallas Wings and Indiana Fever.
