APD Traffic Unit searching for vehicle involved in fatal hit and run

ALBANY, Ga. — Albany Police Department officers responded to a report of a fallen man in the four hundred block of Pine Avenue. A black male, later identified as Marvin Williams, was found lying in the roadway deceased.

Examination by Dougherty County Coroner Michael Fowler determined that Williams’ injuries were consistent with the victim having been struck by a vehicle.
