APD searches for armed robbery duo
E. Oglethorpe Subway robbed Monday night by two men clad in camouflage, black shorts
ALBANY, GA – Albany Police are looking for two men who held up the Subway sandwich shop on East Oglethorpe last night.
Police say the two suspects, both dressed in camouflage jackets and black shorts, arrived at the restaurant around 10:35 Monday night, with one demanding money from the cash register.
Police say the suspect was armed with a firearm with a white sock on his right hand and a white mask on his face, he was also wearing a white pair of Air Force 1 tennis shoes.
The other suspect stood outside, believed to be a lookout.
Both suspects fled the scene before officers could arrive.
No one was injured during this incident.
This robbery remains under investigation.
