APD investigating robbery/homicide

ALBANY, Ga. — The Albany Police Department is investigating what is being called a robbery/homicide.

Police were called to 1012 Davidson Street around 10:16 PM Sunday night. Jamal Tinch, 19, died from injuries sustained in the shooting. Teriyanna Barber, 16, was shot in the leg and is expected to recover.

A motive has not been determined and the investigation continues.
