APD investigating after one man is dead following Tuesday homicide

ALBANY, Ga. – Authorities are looking into an incident Tuesday morning that left one Albany man dead at his doorstep.
Police responded to the 500 block of West First Avenue around 9:30 a.m. Tuesday morning.
Authorities found 46-year-old Rasheed Canty dead at his home following a shooting.
Police have charged a suspect, 24-year-old Tramoski Franklin Jr. with murder.

In a release sent out Tuesday afternoon, the Albany Police Department says other charges are pending.
