Albany’s “Apple-Pay” robbery
Suspect allegedly forced her at gunpoint to transfer $400 from her Chime and Apple Pay accounts

ALBANY, GA – An Albany man has been arrested and charged with robbery and more after allegedly demanding money electronically, by gunpoint.
26 year old Dorion Revills faces charges of aggravated assault, armed robbery, false imprisonment and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Police say it happened at the accused’s home on West Broad Avenue Monday as a 19 year old woman visited Revills.
Investigators say when the woman tried to leave, Revills stopped her and told her she wasn’t going anywhere. Revills then physically attacked the victim and allegedly forced her at gunpoint to transfer $400 from her Chime and Apple Pay accounts to his Chime and Apple pay accounts.
Police say the conducted a search warrant at Revill’s home, and evidence was recovered to substantiate her account of what happened.
Revills was taken into custody and charged with several crimes.
He was transported to the Dougherty County Jail.
