Albany Transit’s blue line back on track
Driver shortage for Albany Mall bound bus route ends after single day of stoppage

ALBANY, GA – Albany Transit’s Transportation Director David Hamilton says the “Blue Line” is back on the road.
Monday, the popular bus line that spans from downtown to the Albany Mall was shuttered, due to the department’s ongoing labor shortage.
Hamilton says his legion of bus drivers is approximately half the standard complement.
Monday, 4 drivers called out, taking the Blue Line route out of service.
But today, Hamilton tells South Georgia Television News the route is back and so are the passengers.
