Albany snatching suspect recognized as former employee; arrested

48 year old Andre Summerset quickly identified in theft

ALBANY, GA – Albany Police had a pretty good idea right away as to who was the suspected snatch & grab robber in a Monday morning incident.

Officers were able to quickly focus upon 48 year old Andre Oneil Summerset in this morning’s armed robbery of Woodalls Gas Station on North Jefferson Avenue.

Police say Summerset was promptly recognized as a former employee of the store.

He’s now being held in the Dougherty County Jail on a single count of armed robbery.
