Albany recreation committee considers Radium Springs Gardens’ future

ALBANY, Ga. – The Recreation Committee of the Board of Commissioners met wed. afternoon to consider which projects to fund in regards to Radium Springs Gardens’ restoration and eventual renovation.

Ron Huffman, who is the senior principal with Wood Environment & Infrastructure Solutions, and the garden’s designer, presented the committee with a $1.4 million master plan for the park.

The Recreation Committee settled on supporting $360,000 of Huffman’s proposed plan to present to the full Board of Commissioners at a later date.
