Albany PD requests public assistance locating wanted Albany people

ALBANY, Ga. — The Albany Police Department is asking the public for help in locating several people wanted in the Albany Area.

William Anthony Acree, 43, has warrants for Home Invasion 1st Degree, Aggravated Assault and Cruelty to Children 3rd Degree. Anyone having information as to his whereabouts is asked to call Crimestoppers at 229-436-TIPS or the Albany Police Department at 229-431-2100.

John Scotty Brown, 57, is wanted in connection with a burglary that occurred at the Finish Touch Detail Shop at 1803 N. Slappey on the night of February 23. A tip jar of money was taken. Anyone having information as to his whereabouts is asked to call Crimestoppers at 229-436-TIPS or the Albany Police Department at 229-431-2100.

Paul Moreland, 52, is wanted in relation to warrants for Terroristic Threats and Acts. According to police, Moreland threatened to stab the property manager at 500 Pinson Road who asked him to remove some large plants from the front of his apartment. Anyone having information as to his whereabouts is asked to call Crimestoppers at 229-436-TIPS or the Albany Police Department at 229-431-2100.

Steve Bernard Hill, 35, is wanted for a charge of Aggravated Assault. Anyone having information as to his whereabouts is asked to call Crimestoppers at 229-436-TIPS or the Albany Police Department at 229-431-2100.

Cedric Lorenzo Thomas, 32, has been charged with two counts of Aggravated Assault and one count of Cruelty to Children in the 3rd Degree in connection with an incident that occurred on March 7 in the 600 block of McKinley Avenue. Thomas is known to frequent the 700 block of Wheeler Avenue. Anyone having information as to his whereabouts is asked to call Crimestoppers at 229-436-TIPS or the Albany Police Department at 229-431-2100.

Andre and Amir Hibbert have outstanding warrants for Aggravated Assault, Kidnapping and False Imprisonment. Anyone having information as to their whereabouts is asked to call Crimestoppers at 229-436-TIPS or the Albany Police Department at 229-431-2100.

Tiona Berasia Walker, 19, is wanted on an outstanding warrant for Criminal Damage to Property in the 2nd Degree-DV. She is known to frequent 507 Swift Street in Albany.
