Albany mom’s child cruelty arrest
Father & witness say mother tossed 7 month old to ground after argument

ALBANY, GA – Albany Police say a 25 year old mother is in the Dougherty County Jail tonight on a single charge of first degree cruelty to children.
Tuesday, officers say they responded to the Superior Creek Lodge in reference to a complaint pertaining to family violence.
It was reported that Tanada Terry got into a verbal argument with her child’s father. Afterward, Ms. Terry proceeded to allegedly throw the 7-month-old baby to the ground.
The child’s father called police and EMS. The police investigation revealed there was a witness to this incident who contradicted Ms. Terry’s claim of the baby’s fall was an accident.
Terry was arrested and charged with Cruelty to Children-1st Degree.
She was transported and turned over to the Dougherty County Jail.
