A SLIGHT Risk of Severe Thunderstorms is Forecast Today and/or Tonight…

Swaths of damaging winds are most likely into eastern Georgia this afternoon. For our viewing area, Scattered thunderstorms will develop along a trough during the late afternoon and are expected to be initially high-based off the front range.

Isolated severe hail and wind along with a brief tornado are possible today.

The primary risk for severe weather will be slightly later in the 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM EDT time frame

Storms will move west to east around 35-40 mph. Flood threat will be possible with training of storms.
