A former Dougherty County Sheriff has died

ALBANY, GA – Jamil Saba, who served as Dougherty County Sheriff from 1985 to 2008, has died. Mathews Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements; there will be a private graveside service.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Georgia Sheriffs’ Youth Homes, St. Jude’s, Shriners or your choice of charity are encouraged.
