A Flash Flood watch has been issued until June 9th, 2019 at 8:00pm….

...FLASH FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT THROUGH THIS EVENING... 
The National Weather Service in Peachtree City has expanded the 
 
* Flash Flood Watch to include portions of central Georgia... 
east central Georgia and west central Georgia...including the 
following areas...in central Georgia...Bleckley...Crisp... 
Dooly...Houston...Peach...Pulaski...Twiggs and Wilkinson. In 
east central Georgia...Glascock...Jefferson and Washington. In 
west central Georgia...Macon...Schley...Stewart...Sumter and 
Webster. 
 
* Through this evening 
 
* Up to 3 inches of rain has fallen across parts of the area 
over the past 24 hours. Additional rounds of heavy rainfall 
are possible across the area with amounts up to 2 inches 
possible. 
 
* Flooding along rivers already out of their banks could become 
worse. Additional heavy rain may cause rapid rises in smaller 
creeks and streams.
Instructions: A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation. You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
