WEDNESDAY

Slightly lower, but still a chance of afternoon scattered showers and thunderstorms.

Temperatures top the low 90s. Heat indices as high as 100.

THURSDAY

There is a marginal risk of severe storms for northwest half of the area as clusters of storms move in from north to south.

The primary threats will be damaging winds, hail, and heavy rainfall.  Temperatures top the low 90s. Showers and thunderstorms still likely on Friday.

WEEKEND

Only isolated opportunities for showers and thunderstorms. Temperatures heat up into the low-mid 90s. Heat indices reach 105-108.
