Not a complete washout, but expecting a good coverage of scattered showers and storms for your Saturday as a stationary boundary hangs out over the area.

Rain chances taper down some, but still around on Sunday into early next week.

Hotter temperatures still possible much of next week with heat index between 100°-105°.

Next week’s pattern still features a version of the “death ridge” but it may be what we call a “dirty ridge” with disturbances moving in on the periphery of it, weakening its intensity, & give us a better opportunity of t-storms.

This may help hold down the heat some…We’ll see!
