Rain chances will be highest today for the southern half of the area, but do expect a good coverage of storms compared to the past couple of days.

Still seasonably hot in the mid-90’s with heat index near 100° to 105°.

There is a Marginal Risk (level 1/5) of isolated strong to severe thunderstorms Thursday 6.9.22 for mainly the southern and eastern portions of the area.

Damaging wind gust to 60 mph, small hail, torrential downpours that may cause localized flooding, & dangerous lightning are possible.

Rain chances remain on the good side thru at least the first part of the weekend.

Drier and hotter next week in the upper-90’s with heat index near cautious levels at 105° or slightly higher!
