Worth County crews cleaning up storm debris

(WORTH COUNTY, GA) — One county in South Georgia is cleaning up after Sunday night’s thunderstorms.

In rural Worth County, several homes were destroyed by trees, with EMS crews treating a family who were trapped in their homes during the storms.

Crews have been hard at work restoring power, and cleaning debris off of the roads.

Worth County Emergency Management could not comment on the extent of the damage at this time.
