WARWICK, GA- Hundreds are expected to converge in downtown Warwick Saturday for the annual National Grits Festival.

“We have a feeling that people are ready to get out and do something fun, and this is a great thing to do,” said Willie Ragan, Coordinator.

Saturday will mark three years since the festival has been held. COVID 19 cancelled both festivals in 2020 and 2021.
“One day we knew it was the only decision to make and so everything was just boxed up and put away thinking that surely in 2021 we would have it, but we weren’t able to, so finally here we are,” said Ragan.
Organizers say there will be plenty for festival goers to do this year.
“It is about grits, but we have a lot more than grits. We have a lot of good food vendors. We have more than 50 food vendors here this year,” said Ragan.
The festival kicks off Saturday at 9 AM. The event is free and open to the public.
