Deputy ok after rollover accident

Officer loses control of police cruiser on Monday night emergency call for help

CORDELE, GA- A Crisp County deputy is recovering after a single vehicle rollover accident Monday.

Crisp County Sheriff’s officials say the deputy was en route to an emergency call when losing control of the patrol cruiser on Crossroad Store Road last night.

The deputy was checked out at the scene and will be ok.

Crisp Sheriff Billy Hancock says he’s thankful the injuries were minor.
