United Way of Southwest Georgia launches COVID-19 relief

(ALBANY, GA) — The United Way of Southwest Georgia is helping under-served families during the pandemic.

They’ve launched a COVID-19 relief fund and will be providing financial support for more than 30 percent of area households that are struggling financially.

United Wy President Shaunae Motley tells us, “It’s our hope with these funds that families who are need of food, or need assistance with rent, or utilities, or mortgage, as well as medical needs, we can connect them to a non-profit to fill that gap.”
