Meredyth Drive traffic alert
Pointe North Boulevard intersection area closed for Albany Water Department project
ALBANY, GA – Albany city officials want motorists to use caution around the current Meredyth Drive water works project, as through traffic around the area will be closed until the work is complete.
Approximately 100 feet of Meredyth Drive is closed to through traffic for the installation of new facilities.
Drivers will not be able to turn east onto Meredyth Drive from Point North Boulevard and will need to use the detours provided to access Meredyth Drive from Point North Boulevard.
This will only affect a small portion of the road as crews dig a ditch across Meredyth Drive.
This portion of Meredyth Drive will be closed from 8:30 am Thursday until the work is complete
A detour will be established around the worksite using the alleyways.
Motorists should expect delays and use caution when traveling in the area.
