WCSS Superintendent announces retirement

(SYLVESTER, GA)- There’s about to be a big change in the Worth County School System.

Superintendent, Bill Settle announced Wednesday morning that he would be retiring on September 1st.

Settle took on the Superintendent position in Worth County in 2017.

In a statement released Wednesday, Settle says, “It has been a great honor to serve as Worth County School’s Superintendent the past three years! There comes a time in everyone’s life that they must make the decision of retirement and I have found the decision not to be an easy one to make.”
