Ashburn merchants will get unexpected cash

Free cash giveaway to eligible businesses

ASHBURN, GA- Some local businesses in downtown Ashburn will get unexpected cash to upgrade their businesses.

The Turner County Development Authority is awarding $3,500 to several merchants.

The funds will be used for interior and exterior improvements.

Between 25 and 30 businesses will be awarded the funds.

Officials say the money comes from different revenue streams, but not sales taxes.
