The city of Moultrie is helping residents with fall cleaning

MOULTRIE, GA – The city of Moultrie will host a cleanup week October 4-8. This is a great opportunity for residents to clear property of debris, appliances, junk automobiles, and other unwanted items at no additional cost.
Debris may be placed in normal trash collection locations; the Public Works Team will collect them. Residents who don’t want to put items with their normal pickup may use the trailer that has been made available at the City of Moultrie Service Center, 1108 1st Street NE. Discarded items can be unloaded there at no additional cost.
Even junk vehicles are included! A phone call to the Public Works Department will result in a list of local salvage and wrecker services who have agreed to collect junk automobiles at no cost.
A pre-planned electronics recycling event is planned for Wednesday, October 6 at the Georgia State Farmers Market any time between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m..
