US Added 162k jobs last month in the face of growing headwinds

Hiring surged in August as the US economy added 162,000 jobs and unemployment stayed at 4.1%, new data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics showed. August’s job gains – which are the strongest since March – mark a sharp rebound from July’s tally. CNN’s Matt Egan explains
