Albany Requests Input From Citizens About Data Centers
ALBANY, Ga. – With all the confusion and controversy about the proliferation of data centers throughout Georgia, the City of Albany is reaching out for public input. There will be a series of data center town hall meetings, and the first takes place this Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Dougherty Comprehensive High School.
Some of the issues covered will be data center basics, risks and rewards of data centers, zoning, the impact on utility customers, water usage, and concerns about noise. If you are concerned or even just curious, the city would like to hear from you.

JULY 7 – Dougherty Comprehensive High School, 1800 Pearce Avenue
JULY 9 – Merry Acres Middle School, 1601 Florence Drive
JULY 21 – Monroe Comprehensive High School, 900 Lippit Drive
JULY 30 – Albany Municipal Auditorium, 200 North Jackson Street
