Today is Melanoma Monday. This most serious and deadly type of skin cancer frequently appears as a new or abnormal spot, or in the form of a mole that’s edges are irregular, asymmetrical or multi-colored. If melanoma isn’t caught early, it can spread to other organs and make the cancer harder to treat.
