CNN projects progressive Dem wins NJ House special election

CNN’s Decision Desk projects Democrat Analilia Mejia will defeat Republican Joe Hathaway to win the New Jersey congressional seat vacated by now-Governor Mikie Sherrill. The win will give Democrats another seat and reduces Republicans’ majority in the U.S. House.
