Thomasville Lunch & Learn to spotlight Pebble Hill Plantation’s 200-Year Legacy
THOMASVILLE, Ga. – A popular local history series continues this week with a deeper look at one of the region’s most iconic landmarks.
The Thomasville History Center will host its next Bicentennial Lunch & Learn session on Tuesday at noon, featuring a program titled “Pebble Hill Plantation: A 200-Year Legacy.”
The presentation will be led by the curator of Pebble Hill Plantation and will explore the property’s rich history, highlighting the people, stories, and traditions that have shaped it over the past two centuries and its lasting impact on the Thomasville community.
The event is part of the 2026 Bicentennial Lunch & Learn Speaker Series, a collaborative effort that also includes the Jack Hadley Black History Museum and Pebble Hill Plantation.
The program is free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own lunch, but light refreshments will be provided.
This is one of the final sessions before the series resumes later this year, making it a great opportunity for those who haven’t yet attended to take part.
