CA: STORM KNOCKED OUT POWER TO THOUSANDS

Severe weather, including strong winds and heavy rains, caused power outages for thousands of PG&E customers in the Aptos and Watsonville areas on Tuesday morning, with restoration efforts reducing the number to hundreds by late afternoon.
