South Georgia Weather Authority Forecast: February 3, 2026

Much needed rainfall mid-week. Steady rain in the morning turns more intermittent with showers tapering off by Wednesday afternoon. Not anticipating any thunderstorms. Forecasted rain totals between 1/2 to 3/4 inch with isolated amounts up to one inch. Any rainfall is beneficial, but will come up short of being any real drought relief. No flooding is expected, but look for nuisance ponding of water on the roads. Sub-freezing and frosty Friday morning. Another light freeze and frosty Sunday morning. Wonderful this weekend. Well above average temperatures next week in low-mid 70s with Spring Fever.
