Georgia BBQ Competition & Festival returns to Carroll’s Sausage & Country Store in Ashburn
ASHBURN, Ga. – Get ready for a weekend packed with smoky flavors, live music, and family fun as Ashburn hosts the Georgia BBQ Competition and Festival on February 13-14 at Carroll’s Sausage & Country Store.
This two-day festival features a GBA-sanctioned BBQ competition, where pitmasters will battle for cash prizes in categories like pork loin, pulled pork, and ribs, with a $10,000 total payout including $2,500 for Grand Champion and $1,500 for Reserve Champion.
Beyond the BBQ showdown, festival-goers can enjoy food and craft vendors, carnival rides, and live music, making it a perfect outing for the whole family.
The festival also includes the Georgia Outdoorsman’s Raffle, with 32 prizes up for grabs ranging from firearms and premium gear to guided hunting and fishing trips. All raffle proceeds and event funds benefit the Scottish Rite Foundation of Georgia’s RiteCare program, which provides speech and hearing therapy for children in need.
