Moultrie-Colquitt County Parks and Recreation Authority Power Wheels Derby races into Moultrie

MOULTRIE, Ga. – Get ready for big smiles, little racers, and a morning full of fun! The Power Wheels Derby rolls into Moultrie this Saturday, February 7, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Jim Buck Goff Complex.

Hosted by the Moultrie-Colquitt County Parks and Recreation Authority, this family-friendly event features kids ages 2 to 7 racing their Power Wheels in a safe, organized environment. Young drivers will take a mini driver’s test before hitting the track, earning their “licenses” and learning the basics of racing safety.

The derby includes two age divisions: Limited Pro-Stock for ages 2-4 and Pro-Stock for ages 5-7. Trophies will be awarded to 1st-3rd place finishers in each division, and a special prize will go to the most creative, best-decorated ride. Parents and kids are encouraged to have fun decorating their Power Wheels to make this competition extra memorable.

Organizers say the event is all about confidence, creativity, and making lasting memories. Spectators are encouraged to bring their cameras, cheer on the little racers, and enjoy a morning of high-energy fun.
